Certification & Education
In 1976, I obtained my certified public accounting (CPA) license and worked as a full-time CPA at Peat Marwick (KPMG), one the “Big 4” accounting firms. At the same time, I attended law school at night. I graduated from the University of Miami law school in 1981.
I continued my advanced legal studies and earned my master’s degree in tax law (LL.M. -Taxation) from the University of Miami in 1982, while also working as a CPA during the day. In 1976, I obtained my undergraduate bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Florida.
In addition, I am a Board certified tax attorney. A Board certification recognizes the attorney’s specialized knowledge, skills, and proficiency in this field and professionalism and ethics in practice.

I was born and raised in Miami, FL, and have extensive knowledge and connections in Miami-Dade County. I represent clients throughout Florida and the United States and also work with clients abroad.
